Job Experience

• Currently working with Cavish Development Foundation in TAF-FAFEN’s Democratic Governance Program as a Program Manager.

• Worked as Program Manager in Cavish Development Foundation Islamabad engaged in post election projects, series of free and fair election’s network FAFEN activities, I was assigned to coordinate and directly monitor the activities of field staff and partner organizations in 07 constituencies (07 Districts) of Sindh Province by Cavish Development Foundation, also responsible for field and project based reporting and program line communications with internal team and donor.

• PROGRAM MANAGER in Takhleeq Foundation, Field Office Ghotki Sindh, I was leading the project teams of 02 projects [1] Women Empowerment Pilot project for Craftswomen and [2] Poverty Reduction Pilot Initiative through integrated approaches in District. [December, 15 2007]to [July, 20, 2008]

Trainings Workshops Facilitated

• Organizational Capacity Building of CBOs, 02 days training was facilitated for partner COs & CBOs of Ghazi Social Welfare Association @ District Larkana Sindh.

• Psycho Social Assistance in post disasters settings, In emergency response of flood Yemeni 2007, I was attached with Takhleeq Foundation’s only Psychosocial intervention in area and during that time, I facilitated a training workshop with 40 participants for one day session on Psychosocial support, participants were staff of 02 UNICEF funded project teams (IRC Sindh and Takhleeq Foundation).

• Protection Issues, 06 trainings of 02 days duration were facilitated to local NGOs/CBOs and media workers of District Kambar Shahdadkot and Larkana in emergency response context of flood Yemeni 2007, training were organized by Takhleeq Foundation.

• Understanding Violence Against Women in post disaster situations (05 Sessions of 02 Days) Provided to VDCs. Stakeholders, NGOs/CBOs & Project teams working in Emergency Response, flooded areas of Sindh District Kambar Shahdadkot

• Research Methods & Survey Techniques, Facilitated one day training session of a baseline survey team at Shahdadkot, and Ghotki for Camel Jockey children’s project implemented by IRC and funded by UNICEF.

• Human Rights & Socio¬-cultural norms, Facilitated 03 days Training workshop of 40 community religious leaders from 08 Districts of Sindh & Balochistan, this training was part of a national project of Social Harmony and Peace building.

• Community Mobilization & Development, 03 Days Training workshop was facilitated with 15 participants, trainings was organized by Roshni Development Organization Quetta Balochistan.

• Survey Techniques (Interviewing, Data Collection, Beneficiary selection & Data Entry) different trainings sessions were facilitated for teaching survey techniques i.e. @ Larkana with UNODC funded drug detoxification project, @ Ghotki Care International Pakistan funded Education and poverty reduction project, @ Shahdadkot Care funded project of Psychosocial support.

• Healthy Life Skills & Adolescents, Series of LSBE training sessions conducted for different organization at MWDO, GSWA, IndusCorps @ Larkana, Takhleeq foundation, UNICEF & Care @ Shahdadkot & Ghotki, for Roshni Development Foundation @ Quetta.

• MSM/IDUs & Vulnerability for HIV/AIDS, 02 days Training workshop facilitated with Project team of UNODC funded project of HIV/AIDS prevention project focusing MSM population, project was operated by local NGO GSWA @ Larkana.

• Organizational Capacity Building facilitated about 10 training sessions/workshops on Organizational capacity building of organizational and project staffs of different NGOs, CBOs, & project beneficiaries, i.e. with Cavish DF Islamabad, Takhleeq Foundation Karachi & Ghotki, Mathini Women Development Organization Larkana, GSWA Larkana, Roshni Development Organization Quetta, Gothseengar Foundation, IndusCorps Ghotki.
Experience in Research and M&E Assignments detailed

• Conducted a Project Evaluation process in designing, data collection and report writing. Cordaid Pakistan office hired Cavish DF as a third party evaluator, for their mega project of 2000 households and schools constructed in Azad Kashmir.

• Designed and conducted Community Needs Assessment Survey for UNICEF funded project of rehabilitation of Camel Jockey Children in District Kambar Shahdadkot and Ghotki Sindh, project was implemented by Indus Resource Centre Sindh.

• Conducted Earthquake Assessment of Earthquake 2008 in Ziarat Balochistan, Assignment was given by Cavish Development Foundation Islamabad.

• Co-¬Designed and Processed a Base Line Study for PNAC funded project of HIV/AIDS prevention among MSM groups. Project was implemented by local organization GSWA Larkana.

• Designed a Survey of Community needs assessment for 30 villages of UC Ghaibi Dero District Kambar Shahdadkot, for Mathini Women Development Organization

• Designed and compiled a Base Line Survey of 30 villages in flood affected areas of Sindh Province, this survey was part of a psychosocial support project.

• Designed and Conducted a Market Assessment Study to review value chain of locally women made traditional crafts in Sindh, this study was a part of Craftswomen support project by Takhleeq Foundation, implemented at District Ghotki, this study covered market analysis of Sakhar, Hyderabad, Karachi and Islamabad Markets.

• Processed a Community needs assessment of 15 preferred villages by an oil and Gas company Petronas, they were projecting some community development initiatives with Cavish Development Foundation, for local communities.

• Survey designed and conducted for needs assessment of Injecting drug users for detoxification and rehabilitations, assignment offered by GSWA Larkana.

• Designed and conducted TNA training need assessment of 50 rural craftswomen from 15 villages of District Ghotki Sindh.
